Through my journey with Shawn, I met Arsonia M. Leisure. Her son's name is: London K. Leisure. London was born on Jaunuary 21, 1971, and was called to rest on May 21, 1989. I did not have the pleasure to meet London.
He was a member of the PAC-8 Championship Basketball Team of Pottstown High School graduating in June, 1988, and he was a member of Second Baptist Church.
I was really impressed by Arsonia. She has done wonderful things in memory of her son whom she loves dearly. She wrote the book: "London's Test of Love". I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet this remarkable woman. She is only one in many remarkable people that I met through my Shawn.
When I purchased a book from Arsonia, she graciously sent me an autographed copy!
I noticed that her book was available through Amazon.com. It might be a little hard to find, but worth the looking. I can try and see if I can locate any other information.
Note:
I found over at amazon that they have a few used books of "London's Test Of Love" available, and that Arsonia wrote another book "The Legend of "Chicken Hill" - March 2005. I'm ordering her new book.

From book cover:
Arsonia M. Leisure has faced every parent's fear and has lived every parent's nightmare. She was told that her son, a young man, bright, full of life, energetic, loving of family and friends, who was preparing to enter college filled with hopes for the future, had a terminal cancer. Then, a short while later, she had to tell her beautiful baby boy that it was okay for him to let go; it was all right for him to die.
Arsonia Leisure finds within herself "a mother's spirit" which has finally allowed her to share with the world, "London's Test of Love".

Excerpt from book- Page 146.
The consolation that this story gives us is found in Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3, Verses 1-8 and reads:
To everything there is a season and a time
to every purpose under the Heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die, a time
to plant, and a time to pluck up that which
is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal, a time to
break down and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time
to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to
gather stones together, a time to embrace
and a time to keep from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose, a time to
keep silent and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time
of war and a time of peace.
Readers, I admonish you to pray without ceasing!
There is no time of night or day
When God can't hear us when we pray;
There is no time,
there is no place
When we can't draw upon His grace.
